What You’ll Be Doing
- Internal testing and QA for research studies prior to public launch
- Support in scale and task development as well as study releases
- Help maintain and update the library of assessments
- Create JSON files for new assessments (both scales and active tasks) using existing task schema (experience with JSON and/or Survey JS preferred or willingness to learn)
- Improve the existing library of assessments by updating it according to standard implementation practices
- Prepare studies for release: create research protocols using our online platform, test studies in our mobile application, implement fixes in the study JSON
- Collect information and prepare descriptive summaries of standardized scales and scoring protocols
- Literature reviews and/or research into appropriate assessments/scales/measures for protocols related to psychology/neuroscience and other topics
- Research protocol design and/or edits including methodology
- Supporting data analysis and/or visualizations
- Science communication (in layperson terms) for public research studies
- Possible coding related to data analysis and/or software development for students with such skills
- Gather, understand and summarize research data from scholarly sources
- General research and summary reports into various subject areas to support the research team
What We Expect From You
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Be in a research-oriented undergraduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. program related to mental health, cognitive science, or psychology
- A team-oriented attitude where no task is too small or too big
- Some technical background or willingness to learn
